February 3rd, Henderson - Dr. Dominic Gentilcore, recent graduate of School of Life Sciences at University of Nevada, Las Vegas will present "Blackbrush (Coleogyne ramosissima) natural regeneration in the Great Basin-Mojave Desert Transition Zone on two fires"
March 2nd, Henderson – Carrie Norman, Vegetation Biologist, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, National Park Service will present her talk on " Population status of Astragalus geyeri var. triquetrus and Eriogonum viscidulum from 1997 to present at Lake Mead National Recreation Area”
March 5th, Reno - Aramee Diethelm, EECB doctoral candidate in Pringle Lab which has studies in trophic interactions and impacts on community assembly. "Talking Toxicity: Northern Nevada Milkweeds and the Community Around Them"
March 21st, Reno - John Weiser will be hosting a field trip planning and coordination meeting at his residence. All members are encouraged to attend. Your input will be of valuable in our ongoing effort to explore and learn. If you have a favorite site you wish to share we would love to include it in our plans. The meeting will start at 1:00 pm and last for no more than an hour or two.
